NewDeck Capital boasts a combined 60 years of upper management experience in real estate sales, mortgage financing, and probate. We also deal with bankruptcy, foreclosure, and everything in between. David A. Begg
David started doing Real Estate loans while in college, and never stopped, receiving degrees in both Finance and Real Estate from Cal State Northridge. “I always believe that ‘now I have seen everything’ is an impossible statement.” Having gone through a full generation of borrowers, he has seen many great accomplishments, as well as many things that people go through that they did not expect. He’s been to weddings, funerals, divorce court, foreclosures on the court steps, loan modifications, IRS, and the list goes on. David believes that for every “problem”, there is usually a solution.

Lynn Eaton
Lynn brings vast knowledge of all aspects of the mortgage finance world. Lynn started as a loan processor, and with hard work and exceptional people skills, carved out a successful career which included being a part-owner of a large national mortgage banker in which was sold in the year of 2012. Lynn Eaton could be considered the “Operational Glue” of NewDeck, and handles operations, compliance, and all the other aspects of having a successfully run company.

Bob Hooker
Bob has lived and breathed real estate in LA/ Ventura county for the past 30 years. What brought NewDeck Capital and Bob together was his unique “eye” for Real Estate. Having 20 years of appraisal experience with offices in several cities in CA gives Bob a unique perspective on the pros and cons of a particular home or area. Bob is also a Real Estate Instructor and is designated as an “Expert Witness” in the Los Angeles & Ventura County courts in regards to appraisal and sale issues.

Mark E. Brenner, Esq.
In his 40th year of practicing law in California, Mark adds a unique legal perspective to the Newdeck team. He is experienced in all aspects of buying, selling, “flipping,” and refinancing industrial, commercial and residential real estate, as well as foreclosure resolution, loan modification, debt relief, easement/title issues, construction defects, encroachment and property disputes.
Mark is fluent in English, Spanish, and in his spare time, volunteers at the Bankruptcy Self Help Desk at U.S. Bankruptcy Court.

Dave Darling
Dave is a Certified Reverse Mortgage Specialist, a designation held by fewer than 200 loan officers in the country. Dave is also a continuing education instructor for mortgage professionals and designs reverse mortgage software. After 20+ years travelling extensively in Eastern Europe and South America while an international finance specialist, Dave settled in Carlsbad CA and began doing reverse mortgages in 2005. He and his wife enjoy vacationing in the National Parks. Fun Fact: he always has an easel, flip chart pad and magic markers in the trunk of his car.
